Orlean is a solicitor in our Property Department. She brings over 40 years’ experience of commercial and residential property transactions to the team.
Trainee Solicitor
Nina joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in November 2018 and is currently working in the Litigation Department.
Nina received her undergraduate degree from Cardiff University, UK where she studied Law and Politics. She then went on to study Public International Law at the University of Oslo, Norway and was awarded a Master of Laws in 2015. Subsequently, she completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University in Manchester, UK in 2016.
After working as a Paralegal in defendant fraud litigation for an international law firm in Manchester for over a year, Nina relocated to Trinidad and Tobago where she completed her training as an attorney-at-law in 2018.

Leanne is our Secretary. She is responsible for the day to day running of reception, as well as supporting 3 partners, 1 solicitor and 1 tax consultant. Leanne also assists our accounts department and supports our HR department.
Leanne is a warm, friendly person who is the first point of contact for guests in the office, and welcomes everybody in with a smile.
B. Comm, AITI Chartered Tax Adviser, TEP
Cathal Lawlor established the tax division within Lawlor Partners in 2006. This division provides advice on a wide range of tax issues including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Capital Acquisitions Tax and Stamp Duty.
Cathal has expertise in advising on property transactions, family partnerships, transfer of assets to the next generation, tax efficient remuneration and Revenue investigations.
An alumnus of both Deloitte and Mazars where he gained valuable experience across a range of tax heads, he specialised in private client taxation with a particular interest in Estates and probates. He qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser from the Institute of Tax in 1999. He augmented that qualification in 2013 when he became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners an international professional body for advisers who specialise in inheritance and succession planning. This enables Cathal to give clear and accurate tax advises to other legal firms and accountancy practices and clients generally which require the input of an experienced tax specialist.
He has presented to several professional accounting bodies for CPD purposes, business forums and Chambers of Commerce and has contributed to a variety of national publications on Tax matters.

Cherin works as a Chartered Tax Adviser with Lawlor Partners. She is responsible for delivering tax compliance and consultancy services to clients. She assists Cathal in the tax division with, succession planning, group restructures and amalgamations, mergers, and acquisitions & tax efficient wills.
Cherin graduated from NCI with a First-class Bachelor's degree in Business in 2017. She trained in a tax boutique firm and gained extensive experience in handling both personal and corporate tax matters. She joined the firm in 2020, having qualified from the Institute of Tax.
She advises on all aspects of tax law and regularly liaises with the Revenue Commissioners. She has a keen interest in indirect tax and property transactions.
